Thank You!

I want to start this newsletter by saying a massive thank you to my customers, family and friends who donated masses of essential items for some of the many Ukrainian people who are in need of our help. All donations were delivered to the lovely Jacinta. They then made their way as far as the Ukrainian border with Poland to be distributed to those who need them.

In the grand scheme of things, the donations we collected are a drop in the ocean, but let's hope that they brought some level of comfort to those that received them.

It’s hard to imagine what the people of Ukraine are going through. It’s a truly heartbreaking situation. We stand with Ukraine, and if the opportunity arises to do more to help, I certainly will and will welcome help from you lovely lot!

Well, I haven’t been as consistent as I planned with the newsletter.

I did say in January I hoped to do one a month, but it seems it just wasn’t to be in February.

Back on track now with March!

Springtime is apparently upon us (someone please tell the weather!). But in spite of the wind and rain, the sun is making an odd guest appearance and the days are getting longer at last.

Mother’s Day

Easter

Easter is coming up soon in April. This year, instead of buying the usual chocolate eggs for your nearest and dearest, why not get them something different?

I'm working on my Easter Gift range right now, and hope to share it with you very soon. I’ve tried to keep the smaller set in line with the cost of a large Easter egg. They will be priced at €12.50 and will be little metal flowerpots containing a soap, lip balm, foot soak, small chocolate egg and some flower seeds which can be planted in the pot afterward.

I’m still planning the other 2 sets but they will be similar to those sizes released for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.

More news to come on them soon, but keep them in mind before splashing out of chocolate eggs!

Markets

Markets are coming alive again now we all seem to have recovered from Christmas! Great to get back to Skerries Mills and Oldtown Farmers Markets at the beginning of this month.
